Welding and Fabrication

Welding and fabrication is carried out in a modern, purpose built factory. The work area covers 12000 sq. ft. thereby allowing large batch orders to be manufactured alongside large, bulky items.

All the shop floor workers are apprentice trained for the work they carry out or they are currently serving their apprenticeship.

RR Engineering has coded welders to BS EN 287-1 covering mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium, to meet the ever demanding needs of the market and coupled with apprentice training indicates its total commitment to high standards of workmanship.

Working mainly in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium the welding methods used are MIG, TIG, stud weld and spot-weld.

Dressing of stainless steel is finished to a high standard by removing oxidisation marks and / or reapplying the surface finish.
